Boat Dock/Launch area |
The Boat Dock/Launch area is secured by a lock on an access gate. Keys can be purchased by LHE members in good standing from AMG: call 570-842-0321.
There is a small amount of parking space in the area.
Please remember, no fishing or loitering on the docks is EVER permitted. |

PA Boating Handbook regarding Personal Flotation Devices (Life Jackets) and boat operation, etc.
All vessels must be equipped with U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) approved life jackets called personal flotation devices or PFDs. The quantity and type depends on the length of your vessel and the number of people on board and/or being towed.
Children 12 years old and younger MUST wear a USCG–approved PFD at all times while underway on any vessel 20 feet or less in length and on all kayaks and canoes.
Pennsylvania law requires the following persons to successfully complete an approved boating safety course before operating on Pennsylvania waters:
All operators of personal watercraft (such as Jet Skis®, Sea Doos®, etc.)
All persons born on or after January 1, 1982 operating any boat with a motor of over 25 horsepower.
